The 10th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 took place between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The match between the two titans of the league took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) made sure that they continued their dominance at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru as they thumped Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 7 wickets on Friday (29th March). The Shreyas Iyer-led side made sure they continued their streak of winning in Bengaluru since 2015.

Asked to bat, Royal Challengers Bengaluru didn’t have a great start to their innings as they lost skipper Faf du Plessis early on for just 8 runs. But after that, Cameron Green (33) and Virat Kohli made sure that they scored runs quickly to put the opposition under pressure.
After Green was back in the hut, Glenn Maxwell (28) played a brutal cameo that kept RCB in the game. But after that things changed drastically for them as Kolkata Knight Riders made a solid comeback and removed Rajat Patidar (3) and Anuj Rawat (3) in quick succession of time.
Virat Kohli on the other hand made sure that he continues his good form and slams another magnificent half-century for the team. He carried his bat through for the team and made sure that he took his team to the decent total on the board at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Virat Kohli remained unbeaten at 83 runs off 59 balls whereas Dinesh Karthik supported him well at the end. The keeper-batter scored 20 runs off 8 balls as Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted a total of 182 runs on the board. They tumbled in the end because at the start they would go past 200 runs.
For Kolkata Knight Riders, Andre Russell was the pick of the bowlers with his figures of 2/29. Apart from him, Harshit Rana also bagged two wickets whereas Sunil Narine also picked one wicket as they made a sensational comeback in the end.

Kolkata Knight Riders were off to a flying start with the bat, thanks to the brutal innings by Sunil Narine. The all-rounder smashed bowlers all over the park and made sure that his side scored over 80 runs in the power play.
Narine scored 47 runs whereas Phil Salt (30) supported him well at the top as the duo added 86 runs for the opening stand. After that it was all about Venkatesh Iyer, who made sure that he set the stage on fire and along with Shreyas Iyer outplayed RCB out of the game.
Iyer scored 50 runs off 30 balls whereas Shreyas stayed unbeaten at 39 runs. Kolkata Knight Riders chased the target with 7 wickets in hand. They made sure that they up their NRR as they finished the game with 3.1 overs to spare in the game.
