Virat Kohli played another vivacious knock in IPL 2024 during the RR vs RCB clash on Saturday, April 6. The RCB opener slammed an unbeaten ton in the match to register his 8th ton in IPL. However, Jos Buttler replied with another century to drive Rajasthan Royals to victory in the match.

Although Virat Kohli played a wonderful knock, RCB bowlers could not come up with a powerful show to restrict RR batters. Moreover, they also made some fielding errors during the match. One of such goof-ups frustrated Virat Kohli from the dug-out.

Jos Buttler was at his fine best during the RR vs RCB game. After losing his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal for a duck, Buttler attacked RCB bowlers from the front to smack an unbeaten 100 runs. With 9 fours and 4 sixes, the England white-ball skipper propelled Rajasthan Royals to victory in the 19th over.

While RCB bowlers tried their best efforts to outplay Jos Buttler, they were helpless against him. During the match, a fielding goof-up denied RCB from getting Buttler's wicket. Buttler hit a shot off Reece Topley's 17th over towards long-on and the RCB fielder threw it far away from the bowler or wicketkeeper's end.

As a result, Buttler and Dhruv Jurel managed to convert a single run into two with an overthrow. Virat Kohli, who was sitting in the dug-out during the moment, expressed his frustration over RCB's poor fielding. The video of the moment went viral on X. Have a look at the video below.

RR outplay RCB by 6 wickets

Talking about the match, Rajasthan Royals opted to bowl first after winning the toss. Openers Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis stormed 133 and 44 respectively to drive the scoreboard to 125 in 14 overs. However, once RCB skipper Plessis lost his wicket, the next batters in line failed to follow up the innings.

Kohli went on to smash runs on one side. However, with no support from the other end, he could only take the scoreboard to 183-3 in 20 overs.

Later, Jos Buttler and one-down Sanju Samson etched an impeccable partnership of 148 runs for Rajasthan Royals. With 100* by Buttler and 69 by Samson, RR clinched their fourth consecutive victory in IPL 2024.
