Royal Challengers Bengaluru's India pacer Mohammed Siraj made a hilarious claim about the KGF - (Virat) Kohli, Glenn (Maxwell), and Faf (du Plessis) - while speaking to teammate Mahipal Lomror. The video, which is now going viral on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) is of the time when the RCB players were waiting for their flight in Bengaluru airport ahead of their next match against Rajasthan Royals. The South-Indian outfit, after losing to Lucknow Super Giants in their previous game, will be visiting the Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur for a clash against the inaugural champions.

Mohammed Siraj, who is the frontline pacer of the RCB team, asked Mahipal Lomror, the hero of the team during their only victory of this season against Punjab Kings, to sit beside him in the airport. Therein, Siraj was giving a pep talk to Lomror as to how impactful their batting line-up can get once Kohli, Maxwell, and du Plessis fire together on all cylinders. But up until this point in time, only 1 player from the famous trio has been able to get going and that is none other than Virat Kohli. With two half-centuries to his name, the former franchise captain is the leading run-scorer in IPL 2024 in these early days.

Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis, the team's two most important foreign players, share only 96 runs between them. The Australian has had scores of 0, 3, 28, and 0 in the first 4 matches whereas RCB's South African skipper has scores of 35, 3, 8, and 19 in matches against Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants. So this is what Mohammed Siraj was trying to convey to Lomror wait until they all come together and play one good match together.

Mohammed Siraj predicts KGF's future and also sheds light on RCB's bowling department

"Look, it is a matter of one match. If these three KGF do well in a game, then nothing can stop us alright," Siraj told Lomor via RCB TV.

After predicting the KGF's future, Mohammed Siraj then shed light upon the future of RCB's bowling department. If we only talk about Siraj's performance from the opening 4 matches, then it has been highly questionable. But at the same time, he also bowls on the home turf of M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, which is regarded as the graveyard for bowlers.

Mohammed Siraj has leaked 157 runs until now with just 3 wickets to his name - 2 against Punjab and 1 against Lucknow. In that regard, the 30-year-old stated that for the bowling department, too, it's a matter of one match until everything goes well for the team.

"And as far as the bowling department is concerned, it is also a matter of one match. If things go well in one match then everything else will be aligned," Siraj concluded.

Can Mohammed Siraj claim 20 wickets in this IPL season for the first time in his career?

An interesting and unbelievable fact is that Mohammed Siraj since making his IPL debut in 217, hasn't experienced a single season of picking up 20 wickets. His best season came last year when he scalped 19 wickets at an average of 19.17. If RCB are to stage a comeback from the match against RR then Siraj will have to ensure he also performs accordingly.
