National Cricket Stadium, St George’s, Grenada is all set to host the fifth and final T20I between West Indies and South Africa on Saturday, July 03. The series is level at 2-2, West Indies won the fourth T20I with the help of a special inning from skipper Kieron Pollard and veteran Dwayne Bravos 4-wicket haul. Chasing 168 to win, the Proteas reached scored 146/9 as the Windies won by 21 runs.

West Indies won the first game comprehensively by 8 wickets. South Africa pulled back by winning the second and the third T20Is back to back. West Indies played some brilliant cricket and won the fourth T20I to take the series to a decider. Whoever wins the last game will win the series which has been a closely contested one so far. The inexperienced Protean side has fought neck to neck with the experienced Windies side to dish out some relishing cricket.

Meanwhile, if the Proteas win the final game, it will be their first T20I series win in over two years. Since their previous series win in March 2019, they have lost two series each against England and Pakistan and one against Australia. The Proteas also managed to draw a series against India. A Protean side led by JP Duminy won their last T20I series against Sri Lanka in March 2019.
