The Odisha cricket team represents the state of Odisha in India's domestic circuit. The team is managed by the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA). The Odisha cricket team's main home ground is the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
They also play their home games at the DRIEMS Ground in Cuttack, East Coast Railway Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Veer Surendra Sai Stadium in Sambalpur and KIIT Cricket Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
Odisha's journey in first-class cricket began in 1949-50 Ranji Trophy. In their first game, they faced Bihar and suffered a heavy 356-run defeat. The Odisha cricket team registered its first win in Ranji Trophy in 1952-53 season with an innings win over Assam.
Until 1983-84 season, Odisha played only against the other East Zone teams (Bihar, Assam and Bengal) before they made it to the quarterfinals for the very first time.
Their best performance in the Ranji Trophy came in 2000-01 season when they made it to the semifinal for the first and so far only time. In 2016-17 and 2019-20 seasons, Odisha advanced to the quarterfinal of the Ranji Trophy.
Some players who represented Odisha and went on to play international cricket are Debashish Mohanty, Sanjay Raul, Shiv Sunder Das and Anshuman Rath (Hong Kong).
