Fakhar Zaman has shown great form in the tournament thus far. The southpaw was brilliant in the first game and followed it up with a match-winning century in the second match. Heading into the third game on Wednesday, Fakhar Zaman would look to continue his good run in the tournament. His partner though got out on 8 off 8 deliveries but he is unlikely to be replaced in the next game.

Middle-Order: Kamran Ghulam, M Hafeez, and Ben Dunk

Kamran Ghulam played a handy 43-run knock in 31 balls in the first match but got out cheaply against Karachi Kings on Sunday. M Hafeez, on the other hand, got starts in both the games but failed to capitalize on them. For Lahore Qalandars to win the next game, the duo needs to perform a lot better than how they have till now. Ben Dunk has done the gloves in the first two games and is likely to don the gloves in the third game as well.

All-rounders: David Wiese and Samit Patel

The presence of both Wiese and Samit Patel gives the team more options with the ball. Besides, they add the much-needed depth in the batting order as well. Samit Patel played a crucial 26-run knock of 18 balls in the last game, which included the winning shot as well. David Weise hasn’t anything significant with either ball or bat but is likely to be retained for the next game.

Bowlers: Rashid Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Zaman Khan

The deadly trio of Rashid Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf has bowled well so far. Though, they have the ability to perform better even better with the ball. Shaheen Afridi has been guilty of missing his line and lengths on a number of occasions. He still, however, managed to return with decent figures of 1 for 31 in 4 overs. Rashid Khan picked 1 for 24 in the last game, while Haris Rauf returned with impressive figures of 3 for 33 in 4 overs.

Lahore’s fortune depends a lot on these three bowls on Wednesday. The role of the four bowlers should be filled by Zaman Khan, despite conceding 39 runs in 4 overs in the last game. The management would look to give him more opportunities to showcase his mettle in the league.
