Sachin Tendulkar ODI centuries:
While Tendulkar made his ODI debut in 1989, it took him five years to score his first ODI century. Tendulkar scored his first ton in the 50-over format in 1994 when he played a 110-run knock against Australia in the third match of the Singer World Series at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
He held the record for most tons in ODIs as well at the time of his retirement. His record was finally broken by Virat Kohli in 2023 when he became the first-ever player to hit 50 ODI centuries. In 2010, Tendulkar also became the first-ever player to hit a double-century in the 50-over format. Of the 49 tons, Tendulkar has scored 19 at home and the remaining 30 outside home.
