Sachin Tendulkar is a former Indian cricketer who plied his trade for Team India for more than two decades. A right-handed batsman, Tendulkar made his debut for India in 1989 and retired from the game in 2012. In his illustrious career, he played a record 200 Tests, 463 ODI, and a solitary T20I for India.
Tendulkar scored more than 34000 runs in international cricket with the help of 100 centuries and 164 half-centuries. No other player has scored more runs or centuries than him in international cricket. In domestic cricket, Tendulkar represented Mumbai while in the Indian Premier League, he played for Mumbai Indians.

Sachin Tendulkar's son, Arjun Tendulkar is a left-handed bowler and a left-handed batsman. He is a fast bowler and is also a handy lower-order batsman. He is yet to represent Team India in international cricket although he has represented the Indian Under-19 team.
In domestic cricket, he began his career with Mumbai before shifting bases to Goa to get more opportunities. In the Indian Premier League, Arjun represents Mumbai Indians.
Arjun was 8 years old when his father enrolled him in a cricket coaching club. In 2010, he played in an Under-13 tournament in Pune. In 2011, he picked up 8 wickets for 22 runs while playing for his school team. In the same year, he also played his first national-level match at the Cadence Trophy Tournament in Pune.
In 2012, Arjun hit his first century while playing for Khar Gymkhana in a U-14 match against Goregaon Centre. In 2014, he was selected to play in a BCCI Tournament U-14 West Zone league match.
In 2017, Arjun caught everyone's eyes when he bowled in the nets in the lead-up to the Lord's Test between England and South Africa. While bowling in the nets, he had injured England star Jonny Bairstow with a yorker. Later, Arjun also bowled to the Indian team in the nets during their home series against New Zealand.
In 2018, he was picked for the India Under-19 team. In 2021, Arjun finally made his debut for the senior Mumbai team when he represented them in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy game against Haryana. He played only two games in the tournament and picked up 1 wicket.
In the same year, Arjun also earned his maiden IPL contract when he was bought by Mumbai Indians. In 2023, he made his IPL debut. The debut made Arjun and Sachin the first father-son pair to play in the IPL. Arjun struggled to get opportunities in the Mumbai side and decided to shift base to Goa. In 2022, he made his Ranji Trophy for Goa and scored a century to emulate his father's feat.
