He has a good cricketing brain and does add a lot of value to his team. He started his career with CSK and six years later, he made his captaincy debut for his nation against West Indies.

George Bailey entered the international cricket frame late in his career, but he did manage to make inroads and he was picked up by Chennai Super Kings in the 2009 edition. It was his first franchise in the IPL and later on went on to play for the Punjab franchise and the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiants.

In 2012, he was handed over the captaincy of the Australian national team in the absence of Michael Clarke and Shane Watson. He had a cool head and his calmness led to Australia naming him the captain for the T20 WorldCup in 2014. He is one of the best strikers of the cricket ball and has now retired from all formats of the game.

Mitchell Santner:

The left-arm spinner from New Zealand, Mitchell Santner was the latest addition to the list as became the captain of the New Zealand T20 side recently against the West Indies in the absence of the senior players. Santner has been part of the CSK franchise for a while now and has played six games so far.

Santner is one of the best all-rounders going around in the world right now and he offers a lot with the ball, with the bat, and in the field too. He hit a last-ball six to win CSK a match in the 2019 IPL against RR and such has been the quality of the player. He is yet to feature for CSK in the ongoing edition as the four overseas slots have been busy.

Suresh Raina has been one of the best players in IPL history and he is tailor-made for a tournament like this. He has had a major impact on CSK in their success and he was unfortunate to miss out on the last IPL due to personal issues. He has some amazing numbers in the format and is still playing for the CSK in the ongoing edition.

The 34-year-old was the first player from India to score a T20 international century and he managed to captain the Indian T20 side in the absence of MS Dhoni on few occasions. Raina is the all-time second-highest run-scorer in the overall tournament and he does have a big role to play for CSK in the coming years.
