Delhi Capitals (DC) have been doing really well in the last three editions of the IPL and they will be looking to use their RTM cards wisely if the mega auction takes place. They will have a big dilemma as the team has been performing really well as a unit and it is going to be very tough to differentiate the performers.
However, Ricky Ponting and the management has always backed the youngsters and they have a variety of players to choose from. The Indian contingent is very strong in the squad and boasts a lot of experience too. Here are 3 players for whom Delhi Capitals might use their Right to Match cards.

Prithvi Shaw:
Prithvi Shaw had a great impact in the IPL 2021 for the Delhi Capitals at the top of the order and even if he isnt retained, he will be picked up again in the auction by the Delhi Capitals through the Right To Match card. He is pipped as the future of India and is going to be a long term prospect certainly.
The youngster was very impressive this season scoring 308 runs in 8 games and finished as the fourth-highest run-getter in the season. He has worked on his technique and it has reaped him a lot of rewards in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and now, in the IPL. He was the first batsman to hit six fours continuously in the first over the innings in IPL history this season.
Shikhar Dhawan:
Shikhar Dhawan has shown in the last two years that he still has all the stuff needed to excel in the T20 format and has been one of the consistent players for the franchise over the years. He finished as the top run-getter of the tournament when it was suspended and scored 380 runs in 8 matches.
He has a wide range of shots and has certainly improved his strike rate in the middle overs. Delhi will have the dilemma of picking Dhawan who can be a match-winner or an overseas player through the RTM card. He will not be a certainty for the RTM card because of his age factor but still looks very effective and deserves to be in the squad.
Anrich Nortje:
Anrich Nortje did not play any game in the 2021 IPL which was very surprising and coming into the tournament did not help him as the Indian bowlers did really well to be dropped. But, he is a match-winner and his express pace was one of the best things about the IPL 2020.
Nortje could be the second overseas player to be retained by the franchise through the RTM card and Kagiso Rabada should be the first.
The South African combination has rattled the batting lineup and they together picked up 52 wickets in the IPL 2020 in UAE. Delhi Capitals should go for the speedster through the RTM card who has turned out to be a strong addition to any squad.
