He has a wide range of shots and has certainly improved his strike rate in the middle overs. Delhi will have the dilemma of picking Dhawan who can be a match-winner or an overseas player through the RTM card. He will not be a certainty for the RTM card because of his age factor but still looks very effective and deserves to be in the squad.

Anrich Nortje did not play any game in the 2021 IPL which was very surprising and coming into the tournament did not help him as the Indian bowlers did really well to be dropped. But, he is a match-winner and his express pace was one of the best things about the IPL 2020.

Nortje could be the second overseas player to be retained by the franchise through the RTM card and Kagiso Rabada should be the first.

The South African combination has rattled the batting lineup and they together picked up 52 wickets in the IPL 2020 in UAE. Delhi Capitals should go for the speedster through the RTM card who has turned out to be a strong addition to any squad.
