Although Rohit Sharma was the star of the match with his 140-run knock, Kohli also played a captain’s knock to help the team win. Batting first, India posted a mammoth 336/5 in 50 overs. Later, Pakistan was bowled out for just 222, winning the match by 89 runs.

Pakistan batted first in the match and was bowled out for just 122. Later, an unbeaten 78-run knock by Kohli enabled India to grab a pleasing victory by 8 wickets.

During ICC Champions Trophy 2017, India played against Pakistan in a group stage match. In the match, India posted a 319-run total in the 1st innings. Virat Kohli played a crucial knock of unbeaten 81 runs in the match and remained not out till the end to give a superb finish to the team’s batting. Later, Pakistan was all out 164, facing a huge defeat in the match.

Kohli emerged as the star of the match, with his 107-run-knock in the game. Later, India managed to crush Pakistan for just 224 all-out, grabbing another World Cup victory against them.

Kohli’s top knock in ODIs is 183, which also came against Pakistan in Asia Cup in 2012. The exciting thing about this knock is that it came while chasing a target. In Asia Cup 2012 clash, Pakistan was quite confident to beat India after posting a gigantic total of 329-6 in 1st innings.
