Virat Kohli is an Indian cricketer who plays international cricket for Team India. A right-handed top-order batsman and a part-time bowler, Kohli represents Delhi in domestic cricket and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League.

 Virat Kohli's parents:

Virat Kohli's parents are Prem Kohli and Saroj Kohli. Kohli was born on November 5, 1988, in New Delhi to a Punjabi Hindu family. Virat Kohli's father Prem Kohli was a criminal lawyer and passed away in 2006 due to a cardiac arrest. On the other hand, Virat Kohli's mother was a homemaker.

In an interview, Kohli revealed that his father fell ill after losing a lot of money in stock trading. His father was paralyzed and was bedridden for almost a month before suffering a heart attack. Kohli was playing a Ranji Trophy game for Delhi when his father passed away.
