India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has responded hilariously to a video in which India captain Rohit Sharma can be heard chastising Chahal for his laziness and asking him to move quicker while changing his fielding position.

With the game heading for an exciting finish, the India skipper was looking to get his field placements right with the pacers and spinners operating in tandem. While Rohit Sharma was adjusting his fielders, he seemed unhappy with the way Chahal was moving from one position to another.

Rohit shouted at Chahal during the second ODI against West Indies in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, which was caught on the stump mic.

“Peecha jhaa. Kya hua tereko? Bhaag kyun nahi raha hai theek se? Chal udhar bhaag (What happened to you? Why aren’t you running properly? Go and field there),” Rohit told Chahal, as caught on the stump mic.

The video has gone viral on social media and fans have been sharing it repeatedly across different platforms. Responding to the video, Yuzvendra Chahal came up with a hilarious reply of his own for Captain Rohit Sharma.

The 31-year-old from Haryana wrote: “Captain Ka Hukum Sarankhon Par.”

Yuzvendra Chahal In Terrific Form With The Ball Thus Far

The leg-spinner, who recently got back into the Indian team’s white-ball plans after missing out on the T20 World Cup 2021, was criticized for his poor bowling in the recent ODI series in and against South Africa, where he was unable to pick wickets in the middle overs and even failed to contain the batters.

However, against the West Indies, Chahal has come back with a vengeance on the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad pitch which has been assisting him a lot. He picked four wickets in the first ODI and was named the Player of the Match as well. He then picked one wicket in the second ODI, but gave away only 45 runs in his 10-over spell, creating pressure on batters.

The third and final ODI will be played on February 11 with India leading the series 2-0. The two teams will then engage in a three-T20I series in Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
