Anjali Sarvani was bowling the 5th over and on the 5th delivery, Yastika went a bit too far across the stumps & her leg stump was thrashed while playing a shot towards fine leg. Yastika Bhatia was dismissed for 7 runs in 15 balls. At that time MI Women’s score was 30-1 in 4.5 overs.

Crucial Phase for MI Women

All eyes would be on Hayley Matthews as the batter has looked in sublime touch. The pitch isn’t a belter one where MI Women batters need to take their time before giving berserk. It would be interesting to see how skipper Harmanpreet Kaur fares as she has looked quite invincible.

UP Warriorz skipper Alyssa Healy needs to use Sophie Ecclestone in 3 spells as she has the knack of breaking partnerships. A win for UP Warriorz would take them closer to the playoffs as we are entering the back end of the tournament. UP Warriorz need to restrict MI Women below 150 runs to give themselves a chance.
