Zaheer Khan is a former Indian cricketer who played for Team India in all three formats of international cricket. A left-arm pacer, Zaheer is widely regarded as one of India's greatest fast bowlers.

Zaheer Khan's wife's name is Sagarika Ghatge. She was born to Vijaysinh Ghatge and Urmila Ghatge in a Maharashtrian Family in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. At the age of eight, Sagarika moved to Ajmer, Rajasthan, and attended Mayo College Girls School. She did her graduation from H.R. College of Commerce in Mumbai.

Sagarika is also related to a former royal house of India through Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur. His father is from the former royal family of Kagal and her grandmother, Sita Raje Ghatge, is the daughter of Tukojirao Holkar III of Indore.

By profession, Sagarika is a model and an actress. She is also a national-level hockey player. She shot to the limelight after portraying the role of Preeti Sabharwal in Chak De! India in 2007. After the success of the film, Sagarika became the brand ambassador of Reebok India.

Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge first met each other at a mutual friend's party. They fell for each other instantly but managed to keep their relationship under wraps. The relationship became public only after they were spotted together at Zaheer's former India teammate Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech's wedding in 2016.
