The Men in Blue will have a chance to seal the series in the upcoming second T20I, scheduled to be played in Centurion on Wednesday.

So, here we are taking a look at the playing eleven which India could field to seal the series:

1. Rohit Sharma:

Once again Rohit Sharma squandered a good start in the first T20I. The opening batsman had started the proceedings with a bang. He had scored 18 runs off the very first over but could not convert it into a big one. Could score only 21 and will be looking to post big in the upcoming game.

2. Shikhar Dhawan:

Shikhar Dhawan continued to make merry with the bat in South Africa. After scoring over 300 runs to his name in ODIs, he top-scored for India in the first T20I. The Delhi star scored 72 off just 39.

3. Virat Kohli (c):

India’s captain fantastic could score only 26 in the opener. The 29-year old, who had scored a staggering 558 runs in ODIs, will be looking to make the most of it and lead India to another historic series win.

4. Suresh Raina:

The comeback man failed to get going despite being promoted to number three. Raina scored only 15 but is likely to retain his place for at least the upcoming game.

5. Manish Pandey:

Manish Pandey failed to impress in the first game. He had come at a time when India needed quick runs. However, he managed to score only 29 off the 27 balls he faced. But despite that he is likely to be in the team.

6. Hardik Pandya:

Pandya is yet to make an impression on the tour since his belligerent 93-run knock in the first Test. He has performed in patches, thus failing to deliver as per expectation.

In the last game, he managed to make an all round impression. Scored a quickfire 13 and took the crucial wicket of David Miller.

7. MS Dhoni (wk):

The former India skipper had the chance to prove his mettle by finishing India’s innings strongly. However, he could score only 16.  He too will be looking to make a mark in the upcoming game.

8. Kuldeep Yadav:

The chinaman spinner  was rested for the last game despite being the highest wicket-taker in the ODI series. Given India’s struggle to contain the Proteas in the middle overs, he is likely to replace Jaydev Unadkat.

8. Bhuvneshwar Kumar:

Bhuvneshwar did not have the best of ODI series with the ball. However, he did not take long to make his mark in the first T20I. On a pitch where other leaked runs, he ended up taking 5 for 24 off his four overs. Will be keen to replicate his performance again.

10. Yuzvendra Chahal:

Chahal went for 39 runs off his four overs. However, he managed to break the crucial 81-run stand between Reeza Hendricks and Farhaan Behardien.

11. Jasprit Bumrah:

Bumrah did not have a good game as per his standards. The white-ball specialist conceded 32 off his four and went wicketless. Will be desperate to bounce back in Centurion.
