The final of the Asia Cup 2018 is just a few hours away from the start. Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly showers words of praise on India for their fantastic effort throughout the tournament. India enters the final of the tournament without being beaten in the single game of the Asia Cup 2018. Sourav Ganguly feels India is the clear-cut favourites to lift the coveted trophy tonight in Dubai.

The stylish southpaw added that Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are in exceptional form and will once again hold the key for India. Further, he called that the rest for the Afghanistan game would have done a world of good for the team.

The break for regulars against Afghanistan will do a world of good for India – Sourav Ganguly.

Sourav Ganguly also mentioned the efforts put in by the Indian bowling attack. He lauded Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah for their consistency in the limited overs format of the game.

“India has looked unbeatable in this competition. After a shaky start against Hong Kong, they have just got stronger and stronger and will not be easy to beat in the final. Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan have batted exceptionally well and the break they got from not playing in the game against Afghanistan would have done them a world of good in these testing conditions,” Sourav Ganguly wrote in his column for Times of India.

“The Indian side will remain unchanged from that which played Pakistan and Bangladesh earlier, and the threat of Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will loom over the Bangladeshi batsmen. Both have been exceptional with the ball, especially Bumrah who has been a standout in all formats for India,” Ganguly concluded

However, as Sourav Ganguly quoted, Indian team looks invincible at the moment. However, Bangladesh has got the players in their team, who can surprise the world on their day.
