Team India was once again right on the money against Pakistan. Men in Blue defeated Pakistan comfortably by eight wickets. India skittled out Sarfraz Ahmed’s side for a paltry score of 162 runs after Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first. India was able to chase the target in just 29 overs. Thus, it was a one-sided affair. Meanwhile, Michael Vaughan took to Twitter to share his thoughts after India’s win.

Vaughan said that why Pakistan always struggle against India. Meanwhile, India has had its wood on Pakistan in the recent past. In the last 12 matches between the two sides, India has won eight whereas Pakistan has won four.

India was able to tick the right boxes.

It was a similar story when India and Pakistan locked horns once again in the high octane clash in the Asia Cup 2018. Indian bowlers laid the foundation of the win as they were right on the money.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar scalped three wickets to put Pakistan on the backfoot. Kedar Jadhav did a fine job as he also took three wickets.

Furthermore, India was electric in the field. Manish Pandey took a fine catch at the boundary ropes and Ambati Rayudu effected a run-out of Shoaib Malik. Subsequently, the batsmen did the job after a fine display from the bowlers.

Rohit Sharma scored his 35th ODI fifty. The Indian captain started cautiously and then changed gears to catapult his attack on Pakistan.

Dhawan made a vital 46 whereas Ambati Rayudu and Dinesh Karthik were able to spend time in the middle. Both the right-handers scored 31 runs each and India won with 21 overs to spare.

Therefore, India was able to tick the right boxes against Pakistan. Everybody had expected India-Pakistan match to go down to the wire, however, it was not the case.

Here is how Michael Vaughan’s Tweet left Pakistan fans in anger.
