Showing his immense importance for the team once again, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was once again seen guiding the bowlers from behind the stumps in the ongoing fourth One-Day International against Australia in Nagpur.

Dhoni’s work from behind the stumps was on full display during the series opener in Chennai when Glenn Maxwell was taking the Indian spinners to the cleaners.

“Woh maarne wala dalna, andar ya baahar koi bhi (Bowl the one that he tries to hit, turning in or away, either is fine)”. Or the more specific “Woh ghoomane waalaaa (the one that turns)”, were some of the commands from Dhoni in the first game of the series.

Well, the former India skipper was seen hurling his advises in the ongoing game after India clawed its way back with some quick wickets. Aaron Finch and David Warner had given the visitors a good start once again by adding 66 runs for the first wicket but the former’s dismissal allowed India to pile some pressure on the new batsmen and they capitalised on it by dismissing Steve Smith, David Warner and Peter Handscomb in quick succession to leave the visitors reeling on 118 for 4.

With two newcomers on the crease- Travis Head and Marcus Stoinis and Kedar Jadhav being a part time bowler, Dhoni decided to give his younger teammate a word of advise before Head got ready to play.

One of the most experienced cricketers at the moment, Dhoni was heard telling Jadhav: “Idhar zada khelega (He will play more in this direction” and  “Piche ayega toh idhar marega (If he goes back, he will hit in this direction).”
