Former Indian pacer RP Singh, who recently announced his retirement, revealed his preferred India’s playing XI for the big match against Pakistan. Meanwhile, India and Pakistan have both qualified for the Super Four stage. However, India-Pakistan match is always a must-win for both the sides whatever may be the situation. India had rested some of its pivotal players for the match against Hong Kong.

Thus, the imperative players are likely to make a return to the last XI of the side. RP Singh revealed he will open with captain Rohit Sharma and his deputy Shikhar Dhawan. The southpaw opener had scored a fine hundred in the last match.

Meanwhile, Singh will bat Ambati Rayudu at number three position. Rayudu had also scored a fine fifty against Hong Kong. RP Singh wants to bring in KL Rahul in place of Dinesh Karthik at the number four position.

On the other hand, Singh wants to promote MS Dhoni at the number five position. Kedar Jadhav makes the cut into the side as he can chip in with some crucial overs. Hardik Pandya also returns to RP Singh’s final XI side.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar who looked a bit rusty in the opening clash also retains his place. Meanwhile, the spin battery of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal will play a crucial role as the conditions will be conducive for spin bowling.
