Asia Cup 2018: Shikhar Dhawan Thanks the Almighty for his Match-Winning Knock

Shikhar Dhawan thanked the Almighty God for his Match-Winning knock against Pakistan. Dhawan scored his 15th ODI hundred to give a great platform to the Indian side. The southpaw batsman scored a blistering knock of 114 runs off just 100 balls to take India in close proximity to Pakistan’s total of 237 runs. Thus, it was a fine display of performance from the Indian left-handed opener.

Dhawan put together an exhibition of fine drives in his innings as he batted at the top of his game. The southpaw batsman added a gargantuan alliance of 210 runs with his opening partner and skipper Rohit Sharma. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma was also able to bring his 19th ODI hundred.

Shikhar Dhawan is in great form.

Shikhar Dhawan took on the attack on the opposition from the get-go. He was able to shred Pakistan bowlers into smithereens as played some breathtaking shots.

Meanwhile, Dhawan has been in great form in the ongoing Asia Cup 2018. He had scored a fine 127 off just 120 balls against Hong Kong in the first match for India. He continued with his clean hitting as he also found the middle of the bat against Pakistan and Bangladesh.

He scored 46 against Pakistan in the group stage match whereas he scored a quickfire 41 in the Super Four against Bangladesh. Therefore, Dhawan has already amassed 327 runs in the four innings of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is also in fine touch with the bat. In fact, India has ticked the right boxes as they have been dominant in every aspect of the game. The bowlers have also done a great job as they have got rid of the opposition cheaply.
