So it is a virtual semi-final for Pakistan and Bangladesh in the Asia Cup 2018. Both the teams have already got their areas that they need to improve in order to take the remaining spot in the final of the Asia Cup 2018. Meanwhile, we figured out the Predicted XI of Bangladesh for the clash against Pakistan.

Both the teams will everything to play for in the all the important clash. Thus, they would like to bring their best to the table. Both of these teams had won their respective match against Afghanistan by a whisker whereas they had lost their match India.

Here is the predicted XI for Bangladesh against Pakistan in Asia Cup 2018:

The youngster finally got some runs under his belt in the previous game against Afghanistan. He has really struggled throughout the tournament and knocked crucial 41 at the right time to show some promise. The team management would like to give him one more chance in the all-important clash against Pakistan.

2. Soumya Sarkar –

Soumya Sarkar could possibly make an appearance in the game against Pakistan. They have given a good couple of chances to the youngster, Nazmul Hossain Shanto in the super four clashes. Unfortunately, the youngster hasn’t fared well enough for the team in absence of Tamim Iqbal and could well make a way for Soumya Sarkar against Pakistan.

3. Shakib Al Hasan –

Unfortunately, Shakib Al Hasan is not striking the form when it matters the most. As usual, he is pretty decent with his bowling but the batting has been wayward in the recent few matches. The team management would hope the senior man to stand against the odds when Pakistan attack Bangladesh in the virtual semi-final clash on Wednesday.

4. Mohammed Mithun –

Apart from the opening clash against Sri Lanka, Mohammed Mithun lost a bit of his mojo. However, he has got the right technique in his kitty which needs a bit of nurturing from the teammates. All in all, he is once again a certain starter for the team and will take the field against Pakistan in a crucial clash of the tournament for Bangladesh.

5. Mushfiqur Rahim –

As usual, the team will once again depend on Mushfiqur Rahim. With high-class bowling department on the floor, the performance by Mushfiqur Rahim holds the key. One good performance from the pocket dynamite Rahim will throw Bangladesh in the second consecutive final of the tournament.

6. Imrul Kayes –

The stylish southpaw made his way back into the team with an exceptional knock against Afghanistan. When the team was suffering from all type of trouble, Imrul Kayes batted like a warrior for the team. He will once again take the field for the team against Pakistan and obviously, will be the cynosure of the spectators.

7. Mahmudullah Riyad –

The flamboyant batsman finally delivered the goods when it mattered the most. He tackled Afghanistan bowlers to the perfection and stitched a match-winning partnership for the team. The team would hope for one more glorious knock to see themselves locking horns against India in the final of the tournament.

8. Mehidy Hasan –

Another important member of the team. He is one of the few cricketers in the world cricket, who performs on a regular basis. The classy off-spinner is a miser with his bowling and has got the knack of scoring runs for the team down the order. However, he will once again carry the major role in Bangladesh plan to knock down Pakistan.

9. Mashrafe Mortaza –

The skipper of Bangladesh will take the centre stage when Bangladesh lock horns against the Sarfraz-led side. Mortaza has been impressive throughout the tournament and would once again like to deliver those goods to tackle Pakistan batsmen. Especially, with the new ball, Mortaza needs to strike those big names up front.

10. Mustafizur Rahman –

Without a ray of doubt, Bangladesh would name Mustafizur in their playing XI against Pakistan. He is world-class and got the skills to deliver under the pressure for the team. His incredible ability to deliver those stunning spells at the crucial phase of the game will do a world of good for the team.

11. Nazmul Islam –

The young left-arm orthodox was very economical in the game against Afghanistan and would once again take the field against Pakistan. He has got that knack of restricting the opposition from big hits and can help his skipper by injecting crucial blows to the opposition. Nazmul has got the capability of turning the game if pitch assists the spinners.
