Asia Cup 2018: Super Four, India vs Afghanistan- Watch the goosebump moment of the game

It was a splendid night on the other day for the cricketing fanatics. All the cricket lovers would have enjoyed the game to the core. The India vs Afghanistan game started as a dead rubber then walked out MS Dhoni as the skipper to pull the nerves of the fans and then it was a sterling finish to the game that totally spoiled the nails of the fanatics.

Afghanistan never let Indians seal the game as a one-sided affair. They pulled up their socks and showed the world that what they are capable of doing in the International cricket. All in all, it was a stunning game of cricket.

Mohammed Shahzad and Rashid Khan deliver for Afghanistan:

Initially, it was Mohammed Shahzad, who ruled the roost. He scored 90% of the team score when he was at the crease. Shahzad continuously thwacked Indian bowlers to boost the score at a healthy strike rate.

He completed his 5th century which is arguably the best knock in his career. Shahzad tackled the Indian spinners exceptionally while he toyed with thas fast bowlers. At one stage, he looked like nearing the double-century as well.

Unfortunately, none of the regular batsmen stood tall in the middle to support Shahzad heroics. However, the senior, Mohammed Nabi pulled his socks at the right time to make the mockery of Indian bowling.

His heroic knock and the blitz, in the end, pushed Afghanistan to score 252 runs on the board. In reply to the chase, Indian openers started the things in a fine fashion with stunning strokes down the ground.

Just when things looked easy-peasy, a couple of wrong decisions by the umpire and the failure of a couple of batsmen to convert the starts gave Afghanistan an upper-hand.

However, Jadeja once again pulled the things back in India control and almost pulled the victory for the team. Adding yet another twist, Jadeja chose to hit the final ball out of the park for the victory which was mistimed and landed in the hands of Najibullah Zadran.
