Nizakat Khan, the captain of Hong Kong, has claimed that he is a big fan of Virat Kohli ahead of his team’s match against India in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022.
Khan discussed Kohli’s vital runs in the Men in Blue’s opening match against Pakistan in an interview with News 24 Sports. He stated that he would like to see the great batter score huge runs again.
In India’s match against Pakistan, Kohli was one of the top batsmen. After a difficult start, the veteran campaigner provided 35 critical runs, helping to steady the ship for the squad.
Notably, Kohli is making his comeback with the Asia Cup 2022. Following India’s tour of England last month, he took a little rest.
We Will Play With Positive Body Language Against India: Nizakat Khan
“I am a big fan of Virat Kohli, he played well against Pakistan, we really want him to come back in form & score lots of runs.”
“We lost by just 20 runs when we last faced India at the Asia Cup in 2018. Anything can happen in a T20 game. You don’t when a bowler can deliver a good spell, or a batter hits some quick runs in a couple of overs. We have seen in the past too how even the top sides have lost against associate teams. We will go with positive body language and will stick to our process”, he further talked about facing India in the tournament.
The fourth match of the Asia Cup 2022 will pit Hong Kong against India. The game will take place on Wednesday, August 31 at the Dubai International Stadium. India won their opening game.
