The lack of runs from his blade may not have been the best in the lead-up to the Asia Cup in the UAE, but Virat Kohli’s stardom has not been diminished. Prior to his return to competitive cricket, Virat Kohli received nothing less than phenomenal support and respect from the fans.

Given the widespread fame Kohli has amassed over the years, it is not surprising to see supporters from all over the world supporting the former India captain on away tours. One of the most popular celebrities on social media, Kohli frequently makes time to engage with fans and grant their requests for autographs and selfies.

On Wednesday, August 25, Virat Kohli made a Pakistan fan’s day at the ICC Academy in Dubai by taking time out of his hectic training schedule. When India had finished their first training session in the UAE, Kohli was heading back to the team bus when a Pakistan fan stopped him and asked for a picture with the famous cricketer.

Virat Kohli Is A Very Good Human Being: The Fan Who Clicked Selfie

Guards at the ICC Academy could be seen preventing a fan from approaching Kohli in a video that is making the rounds on social media. However, the former India captain observed the turn of events and agreed to take selfies with him and other cricket fans who were at the ICC Academy to watch the teams practise.

“I am not a fan of anyone else in the world but Virat Kohli I was waiting for a month to get a selfie from Virat Kohli. I saw him going back from training, I tried a lot to get a selfie with him. He is a very good human being apart from being a good cricketer. He heard my voice and obliged to a selfie,” the fan told Paktv.
