On a fast Dubai track, Pakistan was chasing 182 runs, and after losing captain Babar Azam early, the Men in Green continued going for broke against the Indian bowlers. The game-changing moment occurred when Pakistan moved left-arm spinning all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz to No. 4; it worked incredibly well for the Babar-led team. Mohammad Rizwan, who has been terrific since switching to the ,opening in T20Is, continued his fantastic form.

Before Asif Ali made a chance count and blasted a few boundaries and a six to help his team win, Nawaz smoked a 20-ball 42 that nearly ended the game. In the penultimate over of bowling by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Asif and Khushdil Shah scored 19 runs, leaving Arshdeep Singh with just seven runs to defend.

PCB shared a video of the Pakistan players’ raw emotions from the dressing room:

PCB posted a video of the players’ raw reactions as they witnessed the sea-saw final over in the locker room. Since the players believed that victory was near, they celebrated the boundary with enthusiasm. However, as soon as the wicket was lost, morale began to decline.

But when the task was finally over, Shadab Khan and captain Babar organized raucous celebrations that included the entire locker room. As soon as Pakistan finished its exciting triumph in Dubai, the video went viral.

On Wednesday, September 7, a victory over Afghanistan would guarantee a position in the final for the Men in Green.
