SL vs UAE Head to Head Records in Asia Cup

Sri Lanka are one of the most decorated sides in the history of the Asia Cup. Only India have had more success in the tournament then the Islanders. While India have eight Asia Cup titles to their name, Sri Lanka have won six. In the last edition played in 2023, they qualified for the final but failed to defend their title as they suffered a crushing 10-wicket loss.

Sri Lanka are also the only team to have played in each of the 16 editions of the Asia Cup. On the other hand, UAE have played in only three editions of the Asia Cup. They made their debut in the continental championship in 2004 but did not play against Sri Lanka.

In 2008, UAE qualified once again and faced Sri Lanka for the first time. Sri Lanka went on to win the game by 142 runs. The second and the last meeting between the two teams took place in 2016 when Sri Lanka beat UAE by 14 runs. UAE failed to qualify for the Asia Cup in 2018, 2022 and 2023 and will return to the competition in 2025.
