India and Australia are set to battle against each other in an upcoming multi-format series. IND vs AUS series will witness a Test and ODI series. Rohit Sharma will be leading India in the series while Pat Cummins will lead the Aussies.

The IND vs AUS Test series will witness 4 matches. The IND vs AUS ODI series will observe 3 games. The Test series will be played first followed by the ODI series. The 4 Tests begin on February 1, February 17, March 1, and March 9. The three ODI games will be played on March 17, 19, and 22.

The Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 series will be played across four different venues in India. The Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur will host the first Test from February 9 to 13, and the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi will host the second Test from February 17 to 21.

This will also be the final edition of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, a four-match Test series. According to the ICC’s Future Tours & Programme (FTP), it will be contested over five tests beginning in 2024.

Meanwhile, ahead of the first Test, both teams are missing key players. Shreyas Iyer and Jasprit Bumrah are unavailable ahead of the first Test for India while Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, and Cameron Green are unavailable for the Aussies. The Aussies are topping the WTC points table and India are placed second. The Men in Blue needs to win the series to qualify for the final.
