The third ODI between India and Australia currently stands at a standstill with both sides in the game. Rohit Sharma-led India have somewhat strengthened their position in the fixture after restricting Australia to just 269 runs on the board in 49 overs, with Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav picking up three wickets each.

Rohit Sharma’s knock against Australia saw him become the 8th Indian batter to score 10000 or more runs in Asia across formats as the Indian skipper joins the likes of Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.

Rohit Sharma who has played 247 fixtures on the Asian sub-continent overall becomes the 16th batter in international cricket history to have 10000 or more runs in the sub-continent with 10026 runs to his name.

After winning the first game against Australia, India were thrashed by Australia in the second fixture of the three-match series as Australia bashed India by 10 wickets to level the series.
