Pakistan put in an outstanding performance during the final two days of the Karachi Test to earn a draw against Australia. Pakistan surrendered a 408-run advantage after being reduced to 148 in the first innings and was finally set a 506-run chase. The hosts’ fightback was led by Babar Azam (196), Abdullah Shafique (96), and Mohammad Rizwan (104), as Pakistan finished at 443/7 before both teams held hands.

The team was praised for their outstanding comeback, and Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ramiz Raja commended them on their outstanding performance.

“Some games put your integrity and will to the test. Pakistan pushed and rescued the Game for two days like we saw today. “This was undoubtedly Pakistan’s best-ever bat effort in a crucial match,” Ramiz added.

“You have to shift gears, play defensively, there are possibilities to strike shots and you have to refuse, you have to build partnerships with bowlers but you can’t keep your eyes off the ball for a second.”

Ramiz Raja complimented the Australian team too:

Australia’s pressure was kept till the finish of the game, according to the PCB chairman, and Babar’s innings were really the “best of his life.”

“Australia kept up pressure all the way to the end.” We witnessed how able to stay calm they are. This game was broadcasted around the world. Pakistan handled the pressure wonderfully.

“I’m at a loss for words when it comes to Babar. He pitched the best innings of his career. Pressure builds organically when you know you simply can’t make mistakes. Close-in fielders add to the pressure, and you’ll have to go over the process again. “However, that was a fantastic batting performance,” Ramiz remarked.

With the series locked at 0-0, fans can expect a thrilling conclusion when Pakistan and Australia meet in the final Test in Lahore on March 21.
