Big Bash League Points Table
In Australia, the twelfth edition of the Big Bash League 2024-25 is all set to get underway. In order to place themselves in the top half of the Big Bash League 2023 Points Table, eight different teams will compete against one another for about two months in over sixty matches in this year's BBL schedule.
BBL Point Table - League stage:
Notably, the competition has been reduced to 44 matches this season, thus there will be certain adjustments in the upcoming BBL edition. As a result, instead of the previous five teams qualifying for the playoffs, all teams are now expected to play ten league games apiece. After that, the top four teams in the KFC BBL Points Table 2024-25 will advance.
The Qualifiers will be held in an IPL-style format in the meantime. The top two teams in the KFC BBL Points Table 2024-25 will play each other in the qualifier; the victor advances straight to the championship game, while the loser gets a second chance to qualify. The third and fourth-ranked teams in the Big Bash Points Table 2024-25 will next play each other in the Knockout round. On January 22, the winner of the Knockout match will play the losing team from the Qualifier in the Challenger.
