New Zealand take on the Netherlands for a two-match T20I series on August 4 and 5 at the Sportpark Westvliet, The Hague. The matches will start at 8.30 pm IST which is 5 pm local time. After playing Ireland and Scotland, the Kiwis will now play another associate nation as they look to fine-tune their T20 World Cup preparations. Both the teams have announced their T20 squads with Mitchell Santner leading the Kiwis and Scott Edwards leading the Dutch team.

Kiwi coach Gary Stead is seeing this series as another ideal preparation for the T20 World Cup. He further said that these tours cannot be taken lightly as teams can surprise them. He will take a break from the Ireland series handing over the reins to bowling coach Shane Jurgensen, with batting coach Luke Ronchi and Luke Wright will be the rest of the support staff.

“Firstly, it’s really exciting to be embarking on tours of these developing cricket nations. With more full member nations playing them both home and away we’re seeing how much they’re improving and we know they’ll fancy their chances in their own conditions” selector Gavin Larsen said.
