The Indian team is all set for the Sri Lanka tour which is going to take place this month. Some young and uncapped Indian players are part of the India squad since the national team is currently in England for the upcoming India vs England Test series in August. India’s tour of Sri Lanka will consist of a three-match ODI series and three-match T20I series.

The ODI games will be played on July 13, 16, and 18. The three-match T20I series will start with the first game on July 21. The 2nd and 3rd T20I are scheduled to take place on July 23 and July 25 respectively.

The Indian contingent for the Sri Lanka tour is led by Shikhar Dhawan with Rahul Dravid as the coach. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the vice-captain of the team. Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav are some other experienced Indian players in the squad.

Although the Indian squad does not have many crucial players on the national side, the Indian team is expected to defeat Sri Lanka in the ODI and T20I series. The current Sri Lanka national side holds the 9th rank in ODIs and T20Is team rankings and struggling through a rough phase.

Yadav did not get to bat in his first-ever game but in the 2nd match, he smashed a quickfire 57 runs against England. In his second match, he smashed another crucial 32 runs.
