2021 hasn’t been the year for batsmen as not many players have crossed the 1000 run-mark so far and the Covid-19 pandemic times haven’t helped the cause too. It has been very tough for the players to adapt to the quarantine procedures and it can take a heavy toll on the mental aspect of the players.

Despite all, certain batsmen have made it count this year and have gone into a consistent run of form so far in 2021. They have to grind through the tough times inside the hotels and they will not be able to be with their families straightaway. With all those said, it is time to look at the most centuries by batsmen in Test cricket in 2021.

Mominul Haque is 4th on the list of most centuries by batsmen in Test cricket in 2021. The Bangladesh test skipper has been one of the mainstays of the batting lineup and has been a standout performer in the team. He has scored two centuries and one half-century so far in the longer format this year.

The left-hander has scored 489 runs in 9 test innings this year at an average of 61.12 and has the highest score of 127. Bangladesh hasn’t had the opportunity to play a lot more tests and it is very important for the captain to be among the runs.
