Former India opener Aakash Chopra has brutally trolled the Pakistan cricket team after they lost to India in the Champions Trophy 2025. Chopra was speaking about Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan and his comments on playing the fifth bowler in the Playing XI.

After the match, Mohammad Rizwan was asked if they could have played a specialist fifth bowler in the match which could have given them some more bowling options. However, Rizwan claimed that they can't afford to play five specialist bowlers as it will weaken the batting line-up.

Rizwan also compared India's allrounders Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel with Pakistan's part-timers Salman Ali Agha and Khushdil Shah. Chopra didn't like it and immediately responded to this statement.

Aakash Chopra brutally trolls Pakistan after losing to India

Aakash Chopra took to social media to express his views on Mohammad Rizwan's comments. Aakash Chopra schooled Rizwan by saying that the quality of Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel can't be compared with that of Salman Ali Agha and Khushdil Shah.

"Pakistan skipper Rizwan believes that Salman Agha and Khushdil Shah are of the same quality (as bowlers) as Jadeja and Axar. You can’t make these things up. Delulu Is The Only Sululu," Aakash Chopra posted on X (formerly Twitter).

"Please stay like this, Pakistan. Even though matches are one-sided…Pakistan’s meme game and cricket content is top-class after the loss," he added.

Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja's quality

Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja are important players in the Indian team as both of them provide excellent all-round options. Both of them are capable of bowling quality 10 overs and can also make useful contributions with the bat.

Axar has also been preferred at No. 5 above KL Rahul to ensure India has one left-hander in their middle order. He has proved the decision right by performing well with the bat. Both Axar and Jadeja are quality Test cricketers which makes them high-class all-round options.

On the other hand, Salman Ali Agha and Khushdil Shah are part-timers and hardly complete their bowling quota. They were preferred as the fifth bowling option against India. But Indian batters hardly found any problems playing them and rotated the strike easily while also scoring boundaries regularly.

India inch closer to semis

India didn't find it tough and thrashed Pakistan easily by 6 wickets in Dubai. The Men in Blue chased down the target of 242 runs in just 42.3 overs. Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 100 off 111 balls for India while Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill chipped in with useful contributions.

Earlier, Pakistan were reduced to 241 after they threatened to put up a good score at one stage. Saud Shakeel top-scored for Pakistan with 62 off 76 balls while skipper Rizwan scored 46 off 77 balls.
