Former India National Cricket Team player Aakash Chopra gave a befitting reply to a troll page. This happened after the Twitter user tried to take a jibe at the cricketer-turned-commentator over his dig at the Pakistan National Cricket Team for dropping the big players.

Aakash Chopra stole the limelight with his tweet after the Pakistan National Cricket Team dropped Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah from the squad for the ongoing Test series against the England National Cricket Team. They played the first game of the series but were released from the team for the last two games.

Pakistan National Cricket management, however, commented and denied all the reports of Babar Azam getting dropped. They said that they haven't dropped the premier batter, and he has been rested. PCB claimed that Babar is their No.1 batter, and they wanted to give him a break ahead of a hectic season.

In Asia, we don't 'drop' players...we 'rest' them - Aakash Chopra

Referring to Babar Azam's snub as him being "rested," Aakash Chopra came up with a hilarious remark about Asian Cricket. He said that in Asia when a team drops a player, the team management doesn't say they snubbed the star but instead says players have been rested.

"In Asia, we don't 'drop' players...we 'rest' them. In fact, we don't even drop catches...we rest the ball on the ground."

Reacting to Aakash Chopra's comment, a troll page on X took a jibe at the Aakash Chopra. He posted the photo of Jasprit Bumrah bowling a no-ball during the 2017 Champions Trophy final. Notably, the no-ball by India's pacer gave lifeline to Fakhar Zaman, who slammed a century and helped Pakistan defeat India in the summit clash.

He said: "In Asia, we don't do a no ball. We just cross the line."

Aakash Chopra gives a mouth-shutting reply to the fan

Chopra, however, then decided to give it back to the troll page. The former India National Cricket Team cricketer posted a photo of Mohammad Amir bowling no-ball in England in a Test in 2010. The cricketer-turned-commentator wrote: “You shouldn’t have gone down that route,”

Mohammad Amir was notably banned from cricket after that no-ball incident. He was found guilty of taking money for bowling deliberate no-balls. Not only Amir, Mohammad Asif, and Salman Butt too were accused of match-fixing and served bans for a considerable amount of time.

Pakistan drop Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah and Sarfaraz Ahmed

Coming to the Pakistan team, not only did they drop Babar Azam, but Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Sarfaraz Ahmed were also dropped from the side. They have named a completely different Team for the second Test against the England National Cricket Team.

Pakistan are 1-0 down in the series. They faced a thrashing loss of an innings and 47 runs in the first Test. It was a horrible outing for them as even after posting a total of over 550 runs, they faced a big defeat.

Babar Azam has also struggled to get going in Test cricket. Since the start of 2023, he averages under 21 in nine Tests. He failed to score big in the first Test against the England National Cricket Team. He managed scores of 30 and 5 in two innings at Multan Cricket Stadium, where the pitch was very flat.
