Balance of the RCB squad is 10 times better compared to previous seasons - AB de Villiers
With RCB winning two out of their two games in the IPL 2025, AB de Villiers rated the current squad far better than the last few seasons. He stressed that even in the absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the franchise won the first game, and the pacer added more value to the team in the second match. Speaking on his podcast, he said:
"The balance of the RCB squad is 10 times better compared to previous seasons. I saw Bhuvi and thought, ‘he wasn't going to play, and now he's in.' That's what you want.
"You want guys where you go, ‘wow, is this guy the replacement?' He wasn't in the first game against KKR, and now they bring in Bhuvi Kumar in the second. That's the kind of balance and depth you need."
