India National Cricket Team pacer Akash Deep was at the helm of the things on Sunday (22nd December) as he attended the media ahead of the fourth Test of the series against the Australia National Cricket Team. The match will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne from 26th December.

However, as the short press conference ended, Australian media yet again made a fuss and accused Akash Deep and the India National Cricket Team of ignoring the Australian media. The 7 News created the controversy yet again after the Ravindra Jadeja saga, which happened yesterday.

Australian media reported that India deliberately sent Akash Deep to attend media

The 7 News reported that the India National Cricket Team deliberately sent Akash, who isn't fluent in English, so that Australian media couldn't get the answers. Not only this, they also accused the fast bowler of not responding to their query related to the tensions.

The 7 News Journalist asked the Indian reporter to ask Akash about the tensions between the Indian team and the Australian media. However, the Indian reporter revealed that the pacer wasn't comfortable with the question and asked him about who had the upper hand in the series.

Akash Deep or the India media team never refused to take questions from Australian media just that he isn't fluent in English - Indian journalist hits back at Australian media

With Australian media accusing Akash Deep and the Indian team of refusing to talk to Australian media, Indian journalists from RevSportz exposed the 7 News. He highlighted that it was rubbish reporting by the Australian media as the fast bowler and the team didn't refuse to take questions.

He tweeted: "Another fake report by @Channel7. Akash Deep or the India media team never refused to take questions from Australian media just that he isn't fluent in English. In fact, Bharat Sundaresan asked a question today and your media house also asked one via an Indian journalist present there. Rubbish reporting."

Tensions between the Indian team and the Australian media have been flaring up

The tensions between the Indian team and the Australian media have been flaring up. This all began after Virat Kohli was involved in a fight with the media personnel at the Melbourne Cricket. It was because they were filming the batter's family without his consent and it didn't go well with him.

After that, Ravindra Jadeja was accused of not answering the questions. The Australian media made a big issue out of it and even had an argument with the Indian team's media manager about the all-rounder answering only in Hindi and not in English before leaving the ground.

Following this, the Indian team media manager also boycotted the planned media match between Indian media and backroom team members against Australian media. It was scheduled to be a friendly T20 match at Melbourne’s Junction Oval on Sunday after it was organised by Cricket Australia.
