Quetta Gladiators’ captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has reacted to young pacer Shaheen Afridi‘s heartfelt note regarding their verbal spat in one of the matches of the ongoing PSL 2021.

The Pakistani duo was involved in a heated argument during the 23rd match of the tournament between Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars.

In the 19th over of Quetta’s innings, Shaheen sent down a bouncer that hit Sarfaraz Ahmed on his helmet and went towards the third man, and he ran a quick single. While walking at the non-striker’s end, preparing for the impending concussion test, Sarfaraz Ahmed was seen gesturing at Shaheen to tone down the aggression.

However, the speedster wasn’t impressed with the batsman’s suggestion and then charged towards Sarfaraz Ahmed for an altercation, which the batter moved away from quickly.

The umpires and other players including senior statesman Mohammad Hafeez pacified the situation keeping both the stalwarts at a distance of each other. Though no strict action was taken, the match referee issued a warning to both the players.
