What is the need of bringing Mumbai school of batting into this. Can we not just laud the Indian domestic circuit as a whole & the work done on the grass root level.

And from the mi lobby, what we have mostly experienced is backing of "Mumbai school of batting" players more than they have performed. 😉
The 3 Mumbai batters of Rohit,Jaiswal and Sarfaraz aren't from what you claim to be "Mumbai school of batting"

Excellent knock from Sarfaraz Khan
Meanwhile, Sarfaraz Khan scored a magnificent hundred when India were under immense pressure. His innings was full of strokes and was a highly entertaining one. He came in to bat when India were under trouble at 95-2 and had just lost Rohit Sharma.
However, he combined with Virat Kohli and then Rishabh Pant to build brilliant partnerships to bail India out of trouble. Sarfaraz was unbeaten on 125 at lunch on Day 4 while his batting partner Rishabh Pant was on 53*.
