"I won't be there," the 35-year-old smiled. "That's the beauty of the next cycle, we're going to see it unfold. There's a T20 World Cup in the middle of next year, which is really exciting for our group. But I think our one-day cricket will probably shift a little bit again."

Healy missed a chance off Jemimah Rodrigues at 82 that proved costly for the team. Rodrigues capitalized on the reprieve and guided India home with nine balls remaining. Earlier, the Australia skipper managed to score 5 runs off 15 balls.

It's Kind of a Weird Experience to Watch - Alyssa Healy

Healy was optimistic about Australia’s future, saying the team is well placed for the transition. She stated that Phoebe Litchfield’s outstanding century in the semifinal is a glimpse of what the emerging group can offer. The skipper added that the coming four-year cycle promises plenty of excitement.

"When you've seen players my age walk away, it's kind of a weird experience to watch the next generation go about it," she said. "Phoebe was sensational today, set us up beautifully and went on to make a hundred. It's been fun to watch her unfold. The next four years leading into the next World Cup are going to be really exciting."

We'll Learn from What We Did Wrong Tonight - Alyssa Healy

With Ellyse Perry also nearing the twilight of her career, Australia’s semifinal exit may mark the end of a successful era. Alyssa Healy noted that the transition creates space for emerging talent to take on bigger roles in Australian cricket in the coming years.

"We'll learn from what we did wrong tonight. We'll grow, we'll get better," she said. "The opportunity for some young players to step up in this side is a really exciting thing for Australian cricket."

Healy amassed 3,563 runs in 123 matches at an average of nearly 36 with a strike rate close to triple digits, including seven centuries and 18 half-centuries. During the World Cup, she finished with 299 runs in five innings at an outstanding average of 74.75.
