Young batsman Angkrish Raghuvanshi has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. A highly-rated right-handed batsman, he is expected to cause a bidding war in the upcoming auction.

Angkrish first caught the attention with his exploits in the 2022 Under-19 World Cup in the Caribbeans. The youngster finished the competition as India's highest run-scorer, helping the team clinch the title. He scored 278 runs in six innings.

In the 2023-24 season, he also made his debut in Lis A and T20 cricket while representing Mumbai in domestic cricket. Ahead of IPL 2024, he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 20 lakh. In his first IPL innings, Raghuvanshi scored a brilliant half-century against Delhi Capitals.

Overall, he played 10 games in his debut IPL season and scored 163 runs in 7 innings with the help of a fifty. He scored his runs at a strike rate of more than 155.
