As Team India prepares for the second T20I of the three-match series, left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh is eyeing a huge record in the T20I format. Arshdeep Singh has the opportunity to surpass Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya in the elite list of Indian bowlers in the T20I format.

Arshdeep has become a crucial member of Team India since his debut in the shorter international format. The young bowler took three wickets for just 14 runs in 3.5 overs during the first T20I match against Bangladesh at the Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior on October 6.

The 25-year-old took the wicket of Litton Das on the fifth ball of the first over and then dismissed Parvez Hossain Emon in the next over. He was named "Player of the Match" for his bowling performance. If he manages to take a few more wickets in the second T20I, he could reach major milestones.

No Indian Bowler Has Taken More T20I Wickets Than Him - Aakash Chopra

In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra lauded Arshdeep for his impressive bowling performance in the first T20I. He said that Arshdeep has been India's leading T20I bowler over the past two years.

"Arshdeep Singh needs to be spoken about because of the way he bowls. He came with the new ball and picked up a wicket in the first over and then another wicket in the second over. He came in the end and bowled yorkers. In fact, no Indian bowler has taken more T20I wickets than him in the last two years," Chopra said.
