Asia Cup 2025 venues officially announced, India vs Pakistan on September 14 in Dubai

On Saturday, August 2, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) officially announced the venues for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The schedule for the Asia Cup 2025 was announced earlier, but the venues for the fixtures were not made official by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).
Asia Cup 2025 all set to start on September 9
The 17th edition of the Asia Cup will be played in a T20I format, and the competition will start on September 9, with eight teams participating in it.
India are the designated hosts of the Asia Cup 2025, but due to an agreement signed between India and Pakistan, which restricts the two teams from travelling to each other's countries, the tournament was shifted to the UAE.
India National Cricket Team, Pakistan National Cricket Team, Oman National Cricket Team, and UAE National Cricket Team are placed in Group A.
Group B consists of the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team, the Bangladesh National Cricket Team, the Afghanistan National Cricket Team, and the Hong Kong National Cricket Team.
11 matches of the continental tournament, including the final and India-Pakistan clash, will be played at the Dubai International Stadium, and 8 games will be hosted by Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

In an official statement, the ACC President Mohsin Naqvi said that Dubai and Abu Dhabi are well-equipped to deliver a world-class experience for players and fans. He said:
"The Asia Cup is more than just a tournament, it's a celebration of Asian cricket. Hosting it in the UAE allows us to bring the excitement to one of the most vibrant cricketing hubs in the world. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are well equipped to deliver a seamless and world-class experience for players, fans, and broadcasters alike," said Mr. Mohsin Naqvi, President of the Asian Cricket Council.
"We are confident that the 2025 edition will not only set new standards for excellence but also deepen the connection between the game and millions of passionate supporters across the continent."
