The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the nominees for the Men’s and Women’s Player of the Month for May 2025 on Tuesday. Three players from Associate teams have been shortlisted for the Men’s awards following their outstanding performances for their respective international sides.

Most international cricketers were busy with franchise cricket last month, featuring the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 and Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 seasons. There were fewer bilateral series and limited international cricket action during that period due to the influence of franchise cricket.
