Who is currently the best bowler in the world as well as the best batter? Given how many talented batsmen and bowlers there are in the game of cricket right now, these two topics are definitely interesting.

Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Aaron Finch, Cameron Green, Nathan Lyon, and Glenn Maxwell, the current crop of Australian stars, however, revealed their selections in an interview with Fox Cricket.

Surprisingly, only two Indians were among their top five bowlers and batsmen at the moment. Virat Kohli was chosen as the sole cricketer from India among the batters, along with Babar Azam, Jos Buttler, Steve Smith, and Joe Root. Jasprit Bumrah was chosen among the bowlers, beating out Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Kagiso Rabada, and Rashid Khan.
Marnus Labuschagne of Australia and Steve Smith, a former captain, chose Kohli as one of the top five batsmen in international cricket right now.

“Virat Kohli, a star performer in all three game types, will be my first choice. scored a tonne of runs and was a fantastic player, “Smith recalled.

“So my all format player is gonna be Virat Kohli, I think Test, ODIs, encapsulates that whole play,” explained Labuschagne.

“I would have to go with Jasprit Bumrah”: Aaron Finch

The Australian stars also weighed in on the top five current bowlers in the world.

“I’d have to go with Jasprit Bumrah, purely for his performance under pressure; new ball wickets, old ball wickets; he’s someone who excels in all three formats of the game. He’s a superstar, with a big in-swing, terrific yorkers, and a great slower ball “Finch clarified.

“My number two would be Rashid Khan, what he does with his trade… he’s been incredible,” Finch continued.

“I will put Kagiso Rabada from South Africa”: Steve Smith

South African pacer Kagiso Rabada was named one of the top five candidates by Smith and Green.

“Rabada’s record speaks for itself; he has the best strike rate of all time. I believe that having got 250 Test wickets is a good argument for your inclusion on this list “Green elaborated.

“I’ll put Kagiso Rabada from South Africa in there because I think he’s been a world-class bowler for a while now,” Steve Smith said.

The first One Day International (ODI) game of the three-match series between Jos Buttler-led England National Cricket Team and Pat Cummins-led Australia National Cricket Team is being played at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday, November 17.
