Stuart Broad after lunch on Day 2 ran through Australia’s batting lineup, picking up 2 wickets in no time and troubled the opposition batters with his impeccable lines and lengths. But his best came when he got into the head of Marnus Labuschagne in the first session.

Stuart Broad played mind games with Marnus Labuschagne as just ahead of the 5th ball of the 43rd over, the pacer went to the batter and in front of him flipped the bailed. The trick, however, worked as the batter was back in the hut the next ball.

Stuart Broad so far has taken two wickets in the game and has become the leading wicket-taker in the Ashes 2023 so far. He has currently taken 20 wickets in the series and is ahead of Micthell Starc, who has bagged 19 wickets.

AUS vs ENG: Stuart Broad completes 150 wickets in Ashes 

With his two wickets in the ongoing Day 2 of the game at The Oval, Stuart Broad completed 150 wickets in the Ashes. The fast bowler is the leading wicket-taker for England against Australia in Tests as he surpassed Sir Ian Botham. In the 40 matches in the Ashes, Stuart Broad has 151 wickets so far at an average of 28.92 to go with the best figures of 8/15.
