The third Test between Australia and Pakistan is going on at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) and Pakistan has a first-inning advantage after bundling Australia for 299. They scored 313 in their first innings which means they are currently in a lead against Australia. During the Australian innings, Babar Azam and Salman Ali Agha shared a hilarious moment on the ground while fielding.

Babar Azam has not been in the best of his form since the Asia Cup 2023. He lost his captaincy stint after Pakistan’s early exit in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. However, his bad form does not stop him from having fun with his teammates on the field. After leaving captaincy, Babar Azam looks more relaxed on the field and enjoys his time.

Australia has already won the series by winning consecutive Tests in Perth and Melbourne respectively. Pakistan has not won a Test match in Australia since 1995 and they are trying their best to win the Sydney Test but are still struggling as Australia is ramping them over in their second innings as more than half of the players are back in the dugout under 70 runs.

During the Australian innings, Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, and Agha Salman were involved in a discussion and Babar Azam slapped Salman Ali Agha after the discussion. It was meant in a fun way and Agha Salman took it sportingly and both of them shared a laugh over the conversation on the field. The video of the following incident has been going viral on social media.

Babar Azam failed to score even a single fifty-plus score in the Test series against Australia and has been a complete flop as a batsman for Pakistan in the ongoing series. He was not at his best even during the World Cup and has been struggling with his form since the Asia Cup where he last scored a century against Nepal. Babar Azam has not been in form in any format for the past four months and is having a horrible time as a cricketer.

Pakistan is 67/7 in their second innings after the end of the third day’s play in Sydney and they are only leading by 81 runs currently. It looks like Australia is moving forward aiming for a clean sweep and they are getting closer to it. Josh Hazlewood was brilliant with the ball on Day 3 as he took four out of the seven wickets of Pakistan’s innings and three of them came in the same over where he bowled a three-wicket maiden.

The third Test between Australia and Pakistan is most likely to give a result on the fourth Day itself and it looks like Australia is going to win this Test convincingly. Pakistan will have to make an extraordinary comeback or else wait for the next time when they tour Australia for a Test series to end the 29-year-old jinx of winning a Test match against Australia in Australia.
