Australia pacer Mitchell Starc has come out with great intensity in the ongoing match 14th of ICC World Cup 2023 against Sri Lanka. The match is taking place at the Ekana Stadium, Lucknow and it’ll be an extremely important game for both sides as they have lost both their games.

Australia have been asked to bowl and Mitchell Starc took the new ball. The left-arm pacer was on the money right from the ball 1 and has asked some questions to Sri Lankan openers. Apart from bowling well his game awareness has been fantastic.

Micthell Starc warned Sri Lanka opener Kusal Perera for leaving the crease early and gave him a deadly stare. It happened ahead of the 4th ball of the 1st over of the game. The pacer stopped between his run-up and asked the batter to stay inside the crease.

Here’s the video:

If this was not enough, Mitchell Starc yet again waned Kusal Perera for leaving the crease early in the 5th over. He yet again stopped in between his run-up and gave the batter a stare. It won’t be a surprise if Australia actually end up running a batter out at non-striker’s end.

After being watchful for the first few overs, Sri Lanka openers Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Perera have upped the ante and have started playing their shots. It remains to be seen where will the match head as both teams are desperate for a win.
